Jots in June – 2018 – The Sketchbook Project

For some reason my IFTTT didn’t work when I posted my last entry on Blogger and instead of just trying to copy it here, I thought I’d try posting directly onto WP and see how it goes.

In May I shared that I had entered a book into #thesketchbookproject to be considered for addition into the Brooklyn Art Library.  It was accepted and now it is in digital format as well.

If you scroll down on the page there is a spot where you can mark it as a favorite and they will send me a notice.  There are some really interesting books to browse on the site and I have already gotten another blank one for the next round.  I haven’t decided which of the themes I’ll choose and there is still time for you to pick up a blank book to participate if you choose.  It’s my 15 minutes of fame and I’m loving it.  So far there are 171 views and only about 70 of them are mine!  Not really, maybe 50?  I’d love to hear what you think.  These are the themes for the next series:

There are a few that catch my eye.  Which would you pick?

Congratulations! I think we have to log in to favorite them, so I’ll pass, but you did a great job, obviously. I think I’d pick Things I Left Behind as well.

Thanks Joey. Funny that they make you log in, but no worries. I’m bouncing back and forth between that one and City Streets because I have some cool stamps that have houses on them so that would be an easy one. At least I have some time to make up my mind!

  2. Congrats! I think I’d pick “Things I’ve Left Behind” if I were to choose a theme. It seems appropriate for this time of my life.
